Aroma of both german and scottish smoke malt. The flavour is similar. Good balance. A little over carbonated.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2017 Bottle 33cl. Deep black with an off white head that fades quickly. The aroma is strong with chocolate, smoke and coffee. The taste is bittersweet with a beautiful development with hints of smoked wood and chocolate in the aftertaste.

Pours clear brown. Beige fine head. Aroma defintely says its Rauchbier, well smoked, peaty, some chocolate in the backround, notes of caramel, toasted bread and tobacco. Taste is suprising sweeter than expected, maple syrup-like, liqueur, also chocolate, smoked ham or bacon, roasty. Smooth, oily structure. Soft carbonation. Peaty. Really good one.

Bottle at Beer Zone, Iasi, Ro. Pours pitch black with no head whatsoever. Nose filled with black, wood smoke. Smells intensely of dark smoke. Sweet with low bitterness. This beer is a pleasent surprise and simply urges you to drink again and again, even right after you sipped from the glass. I would have again. Low bitterness and no carbonation. I love it.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Farba plakatowa, zmywacz do paznokci... Masakra, leci do zlewu po dwu łykach.

colui72 (746) - HONG KONG - NOV 29, 2016
Black with a thin beige head, no visible carbonation. Aroma is strongly smokey: roasted dark malts, some caramel, tobacco, leather. Taste is more edible though, its actually a great stout: aroma notes are all in, with some vanilla and chocolate that comes out, without losing the strong smokiness, though. Quite light bodied, with booze well hidden, but a great sipper. Loving this.
