COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer. ABV on the label reduced from 15 to 11.9%. Recipe remains the same

Miedziane, oleiste, nieprzejrzyste, bez piany. Słodki aromat karmelkowaty i biszkoptowy. Aksamitne, gładkie i deserowe. Dobre

Bottle, bottled on 2016, July 20th; exp date - 2041-07-20. Poured into Teku. Aroma: toffee, nuts, almonds. A hint of honey maybe. Pours orange to red brown with medium to minimal very fast reducing head. Very muddy, unclear. Taste: figs, raisins, honey, vanilla, nuts. Very heavy on sweetness, rather medium bitterness. Very full bodied, 30 BLG detectable easily. Oily, creamy and sticky. Flat carbonation. Long, very sweet finish. This is one of the best non barrel-aged barley wines I’ve drank bar none.

Bottle, 33cL. 1 year old. Home. Nederlands bier day# A sparkling chestnut beer with a medium "oily" off-white head ; small retention. Caramel, candied fruits, alcohol, roast, dried fruits, orange. Medium to heavy round sweet warming , light dry bitter. Full body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation, sweet toffee lasting warming finish. Overall, very good ! Too much power for me.

nephirem (539) - CROATIA - FEB 14, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy deep amber pour with small and short lasting off-white head. Nose is heavy malt, caramel, syrup and loads of sugar. Full body with thick and creamy texture, very softly carbonated. Very smooth mouthfeel, sugary sweet taste with slight bitterness from the alcohol. Aroma is heavy on the malts, caramel, toffee. Syrup, molasses, brown sugar. A bit sticky. Herbal liquor, slightly woody. Subtle alcohol burn, nice and warming. Bozzy finish, slightly bitter. Overall, pretty good. Nice balance and complexity, perhaps a bit too strong on the sugary sweetness.

ozzatoadisback (172) - ITALY - FEB 13, 2017
Light brown colour, hazy/murky. Low head, scarse retention and lacing. Indeed not attractive. Pleasant and decently intense aroma of ripe fruits, mixed with vinous notes and a softening sugary feel. Taste has a very sweet base (caramel, sugar), overcome by powerful ripe fruit notes. The overall sweetness is balanced enough by a light alcoholic/warming feel and by a light herbal finish. Obviously full bodied with low to medium carbonation, thick and slightly creamy. Overall, a powerful but still nicely balanced brew, well hidden alcohol, maybe a bit too focused on ripe fruit. Enjoyable
