COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer. ABV on the label reduced from 15 to 11.9%. Recipe remains the same

Tasted 3 times. First time it was a marvelous out of the league beer which took me 2 hours to finish. Full of flavours. 2 Of the times it was an awful smelling and tasting medicinal syrup and drain pour. So ... I hope I find the courage to buy it again and have the phenomenal tasting trip of the first time. If so, than I might change the rating and tell what it can be.

0.33L bottle. Young (4 months old). Cloudy amber to bronze colour. Small head of weak retention. Aroma: massive sweet malts, beautiful fruit esters (apples& pears, yellow plums), walnut, almonds. Full body. Flat carbonation. Medium sweet malty taste. Rich. Caramel, some toast. Big fruitiness. Raisins, dates, dried pears. The booziness is very warming yet not harsh. Light bitterness. This ale doesn't need my recomendations. Some aging would make it even better.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2017 Konkretny i fajny BW. Dużo ciała i cisteczkowo biszkoptowej słodyczy. Idealnie bursztynowy kolor i intensywny aromat rodzynek i nut sherry. W smaku bardzo pełne i zbalansowane. Alkohol lekko wyczuwalny, ale nie przeszkadza.

Bottle 0,33L. Hazy, amber color with minimal, frothy, light brown head that dissipate fast. Aroma of caramel malt and a hint of riped fruits.Taste starts light bitter, malty, caramely, with tangerine and honey and turns to heavy bitter finish, that left some alcohol warmth. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not bad, but still far away from the best barley wine beers, I've had.
