Theres plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. Its powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, its our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer. ABV on the label reduced from 15 to 11.9%. Recipe remains the same

Bottle 75cl.
My beer rating #5900. Light unclear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, excellent lacing, fully - mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, mandarine, apple porridge, alcohol, barley wine. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft - flat. Very nice and lovely. (140908)

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, liquor, and some caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, liquor, and some hops, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2008
(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy deep golden with a basically absent head. Intense aroma of fruit and malt with a whiff of yeast. Very full-bodied - almost syrupy - with plenty of fruit. No bitterness but an almost peppery burning alcohol on my lips. This is almost a fruit liqueur. Lovely! 140908

omhper (24973) - Tyres, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2010
Bottled, thanks mybestfriend! Hazy amber, no head. Super-mega-sweet. Over-malty extra full body loaded with syrup and sugar. Yellow plums that gets lost in an arousing mess of all things sweet. Finishes with ink, alcohol warmth and stickyness. Just way too sweet - the sensory overload causes all details to get lost.

Hazy amber beer, no head and no carbonation. Silky and slightly oily palate. Sweet soft malt with a little brandy and sherry. A good deal of aniseed spice on the finish. Unusual.

Kulminator on the Borefts 1 trip. Sweet sweet malt. Lovely sweet Port Wine tones. Much better than previous bottle.

Bottle at first DC tasting of 2010. Clear copper color with no head or lacing. Aroma of Butterfinger bars and prunes. Taste starts sweet, then vinuous, then fruit and caramel syrup. Thick and viscous, like 10W30. Not sure what to compare this to. Interesting and weird.
