Bottled, thanks jbrus! Amber colour, not too much head. Aroma is hops, grass, alcohol, yeast, lingonberry and quite much raisins. Flavour is alcohol, fruits, hops lingonberry and some mild yeast as well as grass. Strong stinging sweetness in the finish. Travlr (26065) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 12, 2010
Bottle at first DC tasting of 2010.
Clear copper color with no head or lacing. Aroma of Butterfinger bars and prunes. Taste starts sweet, then vinuous, then fruit and caramel syrup. Thick and viscous, like 10W30. Not sure what to compare this to. Interesting and weird. cgarvieuk (25984) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 27, 2012
bottle at home ... bottle on Aug 2009 ... copper ... soft mellow fruit toffee nose ... rich sweet malt nose ... light oily body ... rich sweet toffee .. soft orange fruits ... little vanilla .. big sweet orange ... oh man its so sweet compaired to the cascade... omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2010
Bottled, thanks mybestfriend! Hazy amber, no head. Super-mega-sweet. Over-malty extra full body loaded with syrup and sugar. Yellow plums that gets lost in an arousing mess of all things sweet. Finishes with ink, alcohol warmth and stickyness. Just way too sweet - the sensory overload causes all details to get lost. madmitch76 (25519) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2012

Hazy amber beer, no head and no carbonation. Silky and slightly oily palate. Sweet soft malt with a little brandy and sherry. A good deal of aniseed spice on the finish. Unusual.
