Draft @ Borefts 2012. From what I have gathered first BA & then dry hopped as opposed the other way around. Rather dark amber appearance, not much head. Smell is heavily sweet marmalade, fruits, mango, tropical fruits, sugar, toffee, some malts. Taste is round, so damn fruity, sweet goodness, crazy sweet according to my tasting notes, marmalade, orange peel, sugar, tropical fruits - like a similarly name juice, mango, thick malts, wood, smidgen of hops. Thick stuff, rounder than the non-BA cascade version, rounder, less hop, thick stuff is awesome. Abio (1869) - BERMUDA - SEP 30, 2012
Brown-orange beer, maybe some more head. Fruity, malts, hops and wood. Not totally my kind of beer but drinkeable. kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2012

Cloudy brown, very small off-shite head. Weird. Very sweet, fruity, lots of hop, mango, candy, wine, oak. Very complex, too sweet I guess. Siruppy texture.
Tap at Boreft Beer Festival, Bodegraven 2012: Hazy amber coloured brew with an very sweet taste with hints of vanilla, fruits, toffee and hints of the oak barrel.

On tap at BBF ’12. Clear deep amber colour, no head. Aroma is very sweet, malty, oak, some vanilla, candy sugar (kandij), green tea. Flavour is very very sweet, malty, sweet fruits, white raisins, toffee, oak, vanilla, green tea (is that the cascade? had it in many beers this festival), kandij. Way too sweet for me. UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 Slightly murky brown body and tan lace. Woody, concentrated fermented fruit, with fresh forest hops thrown in. Sticky oily body, super concentrated, sharp hop turnaround, complex. Very powerful and quite bitter actually. Not an easy beer to like, but I do. Draft @ bbf. Aroma is very intense and complex. Alcohol, hops, wood, yeast and more. Flavour is big sugary goodness, then some hop juices, then some wood, malt spices, and more. Very intense.
