bottle, pours amber with a tall tan head. Prune and fig with some carmel malt in the nose. Smoked malt, some peat, and a bittersweet coffee ring out in the malty body. Finishes with an out of this world bakers chocolate/smoked expresso bean bitterness that is hard to put a finger on, but rocks. Tasty! TimE (5817) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 23, 2009
A cloudy amber color. Dark cherries, wood, dried mangoes and raisins in nose. Mouth shows espresso, caramel, rasin, buttery, milk chocolate what amazing depth. Sweet espresso flavors lingering in the finish. rane (1060) - Nibe, DENMARK - MAR 3, 2009
Bottle. Brown with pale brown head. Aroma nutty with malts and some hopps. Taste quite hoppy for a bock with malt underneath and a little hopp in the finish. By my opinion there are too much hopp for a bock in this beer. charlotte (5387) - rødovre, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2009

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 On tap at the European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. An orange-golden beer, hazy, with a nice beige head. Pleasant sweetish nose with malts, caramel and a fruity touch. The flavor has sweetness and fruityness in a fine blend, but is mostly on the sweet side. Full-bodied, with a long, sweet finish. A good bock from the Netherlands. Bottle, 33cl. An almost clear, copper colored beer with a creamy, beige head. Caramel nose with some chocolate and bready notes. Sweet, yet dryish flavor with roasted malts and some chocolate. Full body. The finish is dry and roasted, with some caramel. A nice bock, but nothing extraordinary. 090619
(EBF 2008) Hazy grey/orange color, small head. Malty somewhat cereal aroma. Spicy flavor, sweetish, some yeast. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2008
Bottle at home, thanks to P for bringing it back from Twickenham. Aroma is roasty and chocolate, grassy and bittering hop, slightly yeasty. Taste is similar, quite a bit of bittering hops. A better example of a style i dont really like.
