Bottle from Monks cafe Wallingatan. Tiny beige head. Opaque copper color. Nice roasted bread aroma. Medium body and low bitterness. A bit thin for a bock.

Bottle. Deep Reddish Brown in colour. Very Malty; very chocolatey (powdery & dusty), coffee, roast/burnt malts, burnt sugar, toffee. Hoppy; grassy hops. Sour fruity; berries. Yeasty; lots of floaties & sediment. Rather burnt malty taste throughout with a bitter fruity hoppy edge. (2009-03)

deanso (10220) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 7, 2012
75cl bottle shared cortesy of Kermis. The cork exploded out of the bottle. Murky brown pour with a thick tan head. A little sour. As Kermis said, either it was wrong to start with or it didn’t age well.

kermis (14475) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle shared. Pours murky brown with a thick tan head, after the bottle exploded like a shaken Champaigne. Aroma of malts, caramel, toffee and fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter and sour, perhaps a bad batch or didn’t age well. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Grima (2506) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2011
Dark, bright reddish beer, the foam will disappear very quickly. The smell is dominated by sweet malts, caramel and chocolate. Starts strong malty, subtle sweet in the background. The aftertaste resonates strong spicy, the aftertaste The further course is dominated by caramel and chocolate aromas, leaded by a voluminous malt body! Amazing Bock!
