75cl. Bottle. The aroma has caramel malts, citric hops, little grass. Hazy, brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is moderate bitter, citric hoppy with caramel malts on the background. Like others said, this beer is quite hoppy for a dunkler bock. Enjoyable yes, but if you’re lookin for a bock, this would not be my pick. Holy (837) - GERMANY - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle. Flavor is a mix of caramel and hops with a slightly soapy overtone. Pleasant to drink. LordDrachen (116) - reggio emilia, ITALY - DEC 19, 2010
A bock? Are you serious? Clearly more a modern ale with dark malts. Dark ruby colored with a light brown head. Aroma have strong citrus hint, very hoppy, light caramel. Taste is moderate sweet with a straight forward bitterness. Clearly light-years away from a bock. Useless, but not bad. TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 11, 2010

Hazy nut brown/dark amber color, steady beige head. Strong hayish hoppy aroma, very tropical Nelson Sauvin or Riwaka used? Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity hoppyness dominates the flavor, also some yeast. Tasty but has nothing to do with a German bock :)
Bottled. Hazy brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, some raisins, mild caramel malts, toffee and some mild spices. Flavour is fruits, quite floral hops as well as toffee, caramel malts and mild soapy notes. Loses the soapyness as it warms up a bit from fridge cold.

A clear brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel with fruits and hop in the back. The taste of caramel, some coffee with hop bitter and notes of fruits. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet. Borresteijn (7016) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2010
33cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear brown colour, thick beige head. Aroma of hops, mandarin, orange and grapefruit, caramel and some roasted malts. Flavour is light sweet, dark fruits, caramel, citrussy hops, bit earthy grapefruit hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice, but a bit too hoppy imo. Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - NOV 5, 2010
bottle, donated by Bierkoning - Thanks! Deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, malty, lots of caramel, roasted malts, dark dried fruit and lots of spicy bitter and aromatic hops. A delicious beer reminding me of a strong English ale. dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2010
groundy flavor, peat? dirt? plants? it’s very good, though, my first bok of the year. joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2010
