Draft @ De paas. Aroma has some roasted malt and loads of fruity hops, definitely a molen interpretation of a bock. Flavour is the same, with some spices and yeast. Too hoppy to be a "proper" bock imho, but thats probably why I like it.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, dark overripe fruits and hints of hops. Flavor had a fair amount of fruity hops, roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to a very dry finish, where a note of licorice appears. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange to deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is citrusy and grapefruity hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and grapefruity. Bone dry and fruity into the finish.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and a dense and lacing off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose - not very bockish! Medium body, dry fruitiness with a massive hop bitterness. As said, not very bockish at all - more like an APA. 121010

[email protected] Paas. As expected of this Molen brew, it’s far from your regular bock. Loads of American hops, really full bodied and a very well balanced flavor. Very nice brew.

altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Bottle from Bierkoning. Enjoyed with Boris. Dark brown body with small head. Nose of malts and licorice and caramel. Taste is malty, sweet and just delicious. Nicely done.

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2010
Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Roasted. Nutty. Soapy. Fruity. Nice bitterness. Ok hoppy. High malty. Ryebread. Ok.

caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2010
Bottled. Clear redbrown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of some caramel malt, fruity hop. Bit sweet taste, bit bitter. More hoppy than the average sweet dutch bock beers.

Tap at BBF 2010. Spot on the style, with sweet aromas and flavors of butterscotch and maple syrup. Nice.
