Bottle 750ml.

Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sugar, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy, soapy notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. It is almost borring but it works ! [20110518]

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange to deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is citrusy and grapefruity hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and grapefruity. Bone dry and fruity into the finish.

Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2010
Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to a very dry finish, where a note of licorice appears. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle at yespr. Clear red brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and pine needles. Fruity flavour of caramel, citrus, hops and pine needles. Hoppy finish.

Bottled. Hazy brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, some raisins, mild caramel malts, toffee and some mild spices. Flavour is fruits, quite floral hops as well as toffee, caramel malts and mild soapy notes. Loses the soapyness as it warms up a bit from fridge cold.

Tap at BBF 2010. Spot on the style, with sweet aromas and flavors of butterscotch and maple syrup. Nice.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy brown beer, decent palae tan head. Smooth palate. An even malt base is subservient to some mild but fresh hops. Orange and pineapple with a trace of pine. Very nicely joined up and highly drinkable.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and a dense and lacing off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose - not very bockish! Medium body, dry fruitiness with a massive hop bitterness. As said, not very bockish at all - more like an APA. 121010

Thanks Edo!
Hazy nut brown/dark amber color, steady beige head. Strong hayish hoppy aroma, very tropical Nelson Sauvin or Riwaka used? Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity hoppyness dominates the flavor, also some yeast. Tasty but has nothing to do with a German bock :)

Benzai (16685) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2011
75 cl bottle @ home shared with my dad (probably his first De Molen beer ever). Nice dark amber color, big little bit soapy off-white head. Smell malts, some caramel and lightly hops. Taste sweet, malts, a little bit overripe fruits. Firm carbonation, medium body.
