Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy brown beer, decent palae tan head. Smooth palate. An even malt base is subservient to some mild but fresh hops. Orange and pineapple with a trace of pine. Very nicely joined up and highly drinkable.

Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sugar, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy, soapy notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. It is almost borring but it works !
I think I had this at last festivals, but obviously I did not rate it. Well while waiting for the next occasion it’s time to check what was this again. Oh, very very big foamy head. Which tastes absolutely brilliant. Once the beer sets a little liquid looks mostly brown, with a hint red. Smell is malty and sweet. This beer might be the best bock I’ve had... well at least for while. Aromas include hoppy and malty thing, which are nice way in balance. There is caramel, bread, nuts, grass, citrus... Nice. Tap at BBF 2010. Spot on the style, with sweet aromas and flavors of butterscotch and maple syrup. Nice. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Bottle from Bierkoning. Enjoyed with Boris. Dark brown body with small head. Nose of malts and licorice and caramel. Taste is malty, sweet and just delicious. Nicely done.

Paas. As expected of this Molen brew, it’s far from your regular bock. Loads of American hops, really full bodied and a very well balanced flavor. Very nice brew.
A clear brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel with fruits and hop in the back. The taste of caramel, some coffee with hop bitter and notes of fruits. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet. TBone (17544) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 11, 2010

Hazy nut brown/dark amber color, steady beige head. Strong hayish hoppy aroma, very tropical Nelson Sauvin or Riwaka used? Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity hoppyness dominates the flavor, also some yeast. Tasty but has nothing to do with a German bock :)
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, huge head. Starts strong, malty, fine spicy. Not too roasty. Fine hoppy-dry background. Finish a bit scratchy, but still well balanced, some notes of caramel. Well done! MarcoDL (4964) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2013
It’s De Molen, so it’s always a little more special, but this is still a bock beer, other beer styles are more versatile. I enjoyed this one though.
