PotjeBier (3633) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2013
Backlog. 33 cl bottle @ home, 2007 issue (also 6.5%), young. Pale blonde color, slightly hazy. Big head, but only a small layer remaining. Aroma’s: refreshing, fruit, a bit herbal/spicy, a bit caramel, with hints of coriander retronasal. Flavor is malty, fruity. Medium bodied. Firm bitter finish. Not as balanced as a real German Maibock, but a good interpretation. MiP (15962) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2008
Bottle. Slightly fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely sweet and fruity, ending on a quite bitter note, slightly rough. High carbonation. Tastes like a pale ale to me, and a quite good one. bierkoning (13614) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - SEP 19, 2007
Bottle, In de Wildeman. Greyish blonde with chunks of yeast floating. Citrus sweets aroma. Flowery hoppy flavor with citrus. Sweetish and just a bit thin. Pear. Flowery hopbitter aftertaste with a hint of alcohol. A bit more body and this would be a very good beer. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Slightly hazy golden with a handsome, dense, white head leaving some lacework. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body with lightly sweet malts and dry, floral and citrusy hop notes. Very soft mouthfeel and a dry, hoppy finish. Very decent. 230807 skortila (5970) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2007
Aroma of caramel malts, some citrus and flowery hops. Hazy, orange-copper coloured with a lasting, whin head. Taste is floral hoppy, bit medicine in it, some citrus, yeast and caramel malt.
