Orange coloured brew. Very fruity aroma. Fruity flavour too. A bit too tropical/oranges in the flavor. Not my kind of tripel, but nevertheless enjoyable. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2007
Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a big white foam. Fruity aroma of dried oranges and apricots with notes of yeast and white bread. Fruity and a bit too alcoholc flavour of oranges, spices, yeast and tropial fruit. Sweet finish of oranges and alcohol. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 6, 2007
Bottled. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast and hops. Some glueish alcoholic notes also along. Flavour is very sweet alcoholic and spicy. When warming up a bit some sour fruits also come through in the flavour. Alternative thing. JK (6342) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2007
This is a nice tripel and much better than most. Tasted on draught, Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Sweet aroma of passion fruit and spices including coriander. Flavor surprisingly has some sourness, as well as lemon and more fruit. The alcohol is very well hidden, and the palate is quite good. Bottled. A hazy light amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, but also with light spicy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of figs, wheat, and spices. The body is quite thick.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, pale amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and diacetyl. Rather full-bodied with sweetish malt accents - fruit, yeast and diacetyl. The finish is dry and bitter. A decent Tripel. Courtesy of jbrus. 040307 joergen (29623) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2007

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from de bierkoning, Amsterdam. Wheat in colour with thin white head. Dry nose of orange, yeast and hops. Tastes salty with notes of orange, cinnamon, honey. Dry raisin finish with a light bitter edge. Full bodied. Syrupy character. Really very tastey and a great starter at 9.2 abv (as this bottle is labelled). A nice standard tripel. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2007
(Bottled, 9.2% ABV) Hazy reddish-amber color with a smallish, white and lacy head. Very orange-fruity, slightly gingery-spicy, dryish aroma with some alcohol. Very slightly sweet, strongly orange-fruity flavor with some acidity and hints of cardboard. Hides the high ABV pretty well, but it does show up in the long, fruity aftertaste. I didn’t find the hops very evident. Medium-bodied, neutral, quite refreshing palate with slightly foamy carbonation. A quite nice tripel, but I found the (less alcoholic) Dubbel more enjoyable.
