Tripel is one of my favorit beer styles, very nice beer with full body, think they use another yeast for a year now, but it’s still pretty with good carbon dioxide in it thewolf (12705) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 27, 2007

For a tripel, this is relatively dark - a little hazy orange with a few particles and a small, very creamy off white head. Fine lacing. Aroma is herbal and fruity - lemons, oranges, thyme, grass, strawberries - a bit grainy as well. Fizzy and lively mouthfeel. Flavour is rather sweet for a tripel, but there is an orangy zesty tart feel hidden behind it. Very fruity with oranges dominating with a nice viniousness that never dominates. Very complex with a slight peppery yeast and a slight stickyness to the mouthfeel at the end combined with the aforementioned zest. Great beer... and I mean REALLY great!
Orange color with a big white head. Aromas of fruits, citric and yeast. Palate: Malt, orange, sweet, hops and alcohol. A nice beer! maxpizzo (62) - ITALY - APR 18, 2009
nice beer, full body, light borown colour.fruity aroma.flavour starts sweet with caramel taste, followed by notes of apple and citrus.standard tripel with a more decise taste dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 6, 2012
Old bottle found in the cellar of the mill.
When poured a nice but subtle head forms.
Then the aroma, loverly plum, deep red fruits, almost a touch of barleywine like deep malts, very intense. Doesn’t remind of a tripel anymore, but it does smell lovely.
Flavour is sweet and very fruity malt, touch of spices, and again that faint hint of barleywine.
Wow, this stuff is holding up great. Wondering how it was originally.

Consumed at Nederlands Biercafe t’Arendsnest. This classic Tripel style ale pours with a short brownish head. The aroma is sweet and the taste is very hoppy. skortila (5949) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2007

the brewery. Aroma is yeasty and quite fruity, even some banana in it. Nice. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white lasting head. Taste is sweet, bit siruppy, quite fruity, yeasty. Pleasant, well brewed tripel.
Orange coloured, lasting head. Fruity and yeasty aroma, quite nice. Somewhat sweet flavour with some fruity notes, very balanced. Another good brew from De Molen. TBone (17773) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 19, 2007

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy orange color, decent creamy white head, some lace. Strong fruity aroma: mango, banana and lime, also a bit spicey. Sweetish tripel, some candy sugar and lots of fruits: ruby grapefruit, banana. A bit crisp carbonation, decent malty backbone. Light alcohol, spices and hops in the finish and aftertaste. When fruityness dries out, hops are dominating the aftertaste. Balanced, enjoyable Dutch-type tripel.
