Bottle from Pibar, Lausanne; bottled 31/07/13, hence a bit old; 7.1% ABV
Amber color, cloudy, with generous frothy head. Aroma of old hops, dry leaf, continental. Highly carbonated; good body strength, with a small residual sweetness; it has some of the character from the rye, some caramel, although the rest reveals an old age; strong bitterness; at least it has a mild fruitiness from the aroma to the taste to the final; the spicy yeast character is too evident.
Good, but another dirty hoppy beer from De Molen.

Bottle from the Fyne Ales brewery shop. Cloudy amber with a cream head. Quite an interesting taste to this one. Creamy with caramel and orange zest. Some mild spice too. Tasty.

Aroma of rye, malt, caramel, grapefruit peel, orange, pine, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet, hoppy, with a medium bitter finish. Nice and tasty Rye IPA.

Bottled (from biernavigatie). Hazy deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is grains, sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes as well as some yeasty and herbal notes. Flavour is sweet hops, some grains, sweet malts as well as some toffeeish notes. Big palate as always from the brewery. A bit strange, but in a good way. Very different brew from De Molen.

Aroma of light fruitiness. The taste is well hopped, fruity, but has too much bitter taste according to me. Okay bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth briefly. Not really my beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle. Comes at 7.1% abv. When poured it transform itself to one big off white foam. Signs of an infection or just the usual De Molen weirdness ;) After a few mins the bubbly head is decreased to a size if a weizen making it possible to actually have a chance to smell what this is all about. A fruity and malty aroma hits me with some floral notes. Peach and light passion fruit. The flavor is highly fruity with a great malty punch. Floral rye notes and it ends up fruity and light piney. No sign of infection. Just a very nice highly carbonated IPA.

330ml bottle. Aroma is citrus, light grass, pineapple, light orange. Appearance is cloudy brown with a nice brown-ish foam. Taste is sour, bitter, light sweet. A soft carbonation. Creamy mouth feel. Good dryness and bitterness. A slightly to quick finish. Overall a very nice IPA.

Bottle. Aroma is rye, tropical fruit, peach, light spice. Taste is initially full of rye, then mellows to a strong fruity finish. Nectar like. Feels quite boozy.

@ Havregatan. Bottle (330 ml) from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Copenhagen (35 DKK). Fruity and hoppy with yeasty and caramely notes, citrus and pine needles, sweet, a bit too carbonated, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and bitter with fruity and hoppy notes.

Barwa: złocista, głęboka i wyraźnie zmętniona. Piana biała, drobno pęcherzykowa, obfita, utrzymująca się i genialnie wprost oblepiająca szkło. Aromat: wyraźna nuta słodowa pochodząca z kombinacji różnych zbóż. Wyczuwalna słodycz, owocowe i żywiczne akcenty chmielowe oraz alkohol. Smak: słodowy, dość słodki i pełny, dodatkowo pogłębia to wrażenie spore wysycenie, nieco szczypiące w język. Występuje chmielowa kontra, ale goryczka poniżej średniej. Do tego nieco ziemistości i wyraźnie alkoholowa, nieco rozgrzewająca końcówka. Faktycznie ciekawsze piwo niż testowane uprzednio Alpha & Omega.
