Borefts Beer Festival 3. Opaque black - brown beer. Tidy tan head. Smooth palate, fine carbonation. Smooth dark malt. Some oaky sweetness. A light touch of floralness, viiolets and some nuttyness, hazlenuts and a little chocolate. Finishes dry. Unusual and complex.

Very close to a perfect imperial stout. Deep, dark brown coloration. The barrel aging leaves a slightly sour and fruit taste that lingers. Tried at the BBF with Olivier, Erol, and David. spkevin (435) - Doetinchem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 27, 2011
Tap @ BBF ’11. The beer with the secret ingredient. Dark brown/black pour with an ok head. Chocolate and coffee in the taste with wood hints. Could not guess the ingredient. Also didn’t taste the sour hints. Some hops there too. Good beer. Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2011
