Bottle. Spritzy, fresh fruit aroma (peaches and pineapple), with some ester notes. Orange-amber color. Sourish, fruity (even perfumey), overripe pears and peaches. Finish is somewhat dry. Thin-medium body. Same recipe (or same ingredients) as Amerikaans, but the hops are reversed (Amarillo for bittering and sladek for dry-hopping). Not as full-bodied as Amerikaans but more refreshing. Bottle from the De Molen shop on the 17.56 Brussels - St Pancras, post Borefts, 29/09/13.
Hazed amber with a moderate off white head.
Nose is caramel, grass, orange, light soap, toasted malts.
Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon rind, grass, hint of caramel, soapy, citric fruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light bitter tones.
So so bitter, not really true to style - too much citrus fruit and the soapy tones detracted from my enjoyment of this one. TrappistenOli (319) - Bern, SWITZERLAND - OCT 9, 2013
Orange, kein starkes aroma, ganz leicht fruchtig, etwas fad im geschmack, leichte säure und bittere, nichts aber dominierend, feine rezenz

Bottle from the brewery. Bright dark orange pour with a reluctant fleeting white head. Hazed. Aroma is woody earthy hop with slight citrus edge. Flavour is cara malt and balanced earthy hop. Lowish carbonation. Slight metallic finish and low bitterness. Majek (910) - Ząbki, POLAND - AUG 18, 2013
Hazy orange with medium, quickly disappearing head. Nice intensive aroma of citrus and flowers. Taste is light malty and floral, but everything is dominated but spices and yeast. Very low carbonation and medium body. Dry finish. Average beer.

A very satisfying beer. Dry yet refreshing. Has the typical molen flavors but without the overpowering Saaz hop they usually do. It’s a bit more in balance with this one. Some fruitiness, spiciness, mild sweetness and light bitter. Very refreshing on a hot summer day! Gorm (1899) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2013
Gyllen disig farve med lyst skum. Lukt av fruktig humle, sitrus og malt. Smak av malt, sitrus, karamell, og frukt. Melkebaren. nilsas (4719) - Bryne, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2013
God duft av citrus og honning. Lite hengende skum. Fin gyllen honning farge. Fin smak av citrus og honning. Acid303 (674) - Barcelona, CATALONIA, - AUG 9, 2013
33cl bottle, served in Irish Pint. Pours hazy orange, flame, with small white frothy head (lasting). Citrusy aroma with some malts and yeast. The flavour is lightly fruity (ripe fruits), hoppy (more evident on the nose though), and quite yeasty. Medium mouthfeel, good carbonation. Drinkable and refreshing, not exactly a Bitter, nor an English Pale Ale...weird but nice. bartlebier (4214) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2013
33cl bottle, Geers, sampled VI2013 (backlog). Pours a very pleasant zesty and effervescent orange, which is then mirrored in aroma and taste: tangerine hops and a wisp of pale malt caramel working in accord with refreshingly thin mouthfeel. As much subtle flavour as you can pack into a light continental bitter, I suppose. Always in support of tasty & light new summer brews...
