Danke an Grima. Mild malziger Beginn mit stärker werdenden Schokoladennoten, positiv trocken. Dann röstiger, schokoladig, geringe Fruchtnoten. Anschließend starke Kaffeenoten. Interessant aber nicht top! 12/10/11/10/13/11

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2012
Bottle at Wasana’s Winter Beer Tasting 2012!
The beer in the glass is deep black, there is hardly any foam. Smells roasty, very cherry-like, slightly acid (Brett.)! Starts with great cherry flavors that evaporate very quickly, however. Moreover aromas of roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and sour Brett. This beer has no carbonation! The middle part is cherry-sour, bitter and subtle woody-coffee roasted. The finish has all these flavors again very strong, the hold on very long! Fabulous!

750 ml bottle at Wasana’s Winter Beer Tasting 2012, Idar-Oberstein, Germany. With much thanks to Kolschtrinker. Is a black color with a very small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and fruit. Taste is loads of smoked tar with lots of cherries. Tar and peat in the flavor as well. Palate is slightly sourish. Palate is pretty rough.
