Black with small head. Aroma of sourness and fruit. Flavor with cherries and roasted malt.
Pours black with no head, only a few tan bubbles on the surface, and an aroma of fresh ripe cherries, brown bread, licorice, dark malts and coffee beans. The taste is dominated by roasted malts, licorice, maybe some cherries, but not as sweet as in the aroma. The finish is bitter, but I would rather say it’s an espresso like bitter than a hop-like bitter. anders37 (27237) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2011

Woody aroma, brett, lemon, chocolate. Muddy orange-brown color. Dirty chocolate bretty flavor, with cherry, too much dust, coffee, and grains. A very strange bird.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2015 Re-rate December 22nd 2015. Opaque pitch black color, no head at all. 2010 bottle by the way. Very vinous, brett, cherries indeed mixed with roasted malts. Not bad, but not really my thing. -- Original rating: Not my favote stout with the sourness in this beer. It’s pitch black, tastes a lot like coffee, guinness and a little sour. Carbo and body are nice though. 6-3-6-4-13 [3.2]. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011

Black, beige trim. Really well balanced malting, heavy and full; yet, easy going. Some fruiyt mess in the aroma, cherry-like. Thwe sweer fruity flavours finishes nicely, with the alcohol with a dry, dark a some what light ending. Good for a 11% beer. phaleslu (10747) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2011
Bottle shared by Rencelas- thanks again, Jason! 010/666. Waxed cork and cage. Pours a very, very dark brown- near black- with a tan ring for a head. Aroma of brett, berries, roast, booze, oak, earth, and coffee. Flavor of tart berries, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, tobacco, and earth. Medium-bodied, with a tart, roasty mouthfeel and moderate to low carbonation. Really unique and interesting. Dazz3 (1799) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2011
