750mL bottle, 2010 vintage, #658 of 666. Poured near-black with just a loose ring of dark beige head sticking around.. looked kind of flat. The aroma picked up chocolate-covered cherries first, with fruity Brett and toasted oak accenting.. I really didn’t get much beyond that, but I liked what I got. The flavor found semi-sweet mocha at the core, with tart cherries, metallic bourbon, and dry, fruity Brett laced throughout.. more Brett, sweeter chocolates, and tasty bourbon on the long finish. Medium-plus bodied with very little carbonation on the palate.. slick across the middle.. there was quite a bit going on here, but it only sort of worked for me.
Bottle @ Abijen’s Christmas non-tick tasting. Black pour. Aroma of red wine, booze and mild cacao. Tastes like a mix of stout and red wine, with vinous oak, tannine, red fruit, mild tart, cream and some roasted cacao. No wild turkey detectable. I liked it. caesar (7281) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 23, 2015

tepid sepia, no head at all. Raisin liquor nose, barky oak with light sugar. Heavy booze front palate, heavy sugar and light cardboard mid, sticky light roast and anise is thin finish. No wildness anywhere, all boozy sugars in thick sludgy experience.
750ml bottle pours an oily, translucent amber with zero head. Nose has cherry, some whiskey, malt, molasses. Flavor is malty, chocolate, cherry, a little rubber, cracker. Finishes a bit watery. Where’s the brett too? radagast83 (8472) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014
22oz bottle. Poured a slightly cola, brown color without much of a head. Aroma was some milk chocolate, some cherry cordial. Not a lot of brett, or any funky notes. Flavor was cherry cordial, bitter, roasted malts. solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Lots of roast here with light cherry. Pours black with good head and mocha lacing. Medium bitter. I like the way this comes. Thick pour. Bottle. Iphonephan (7281) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014
From a bottle at the DC Ratebeer event Dec. 6, 2014. Pours a murky black with a thin tan head. Tart dark cherry nose. Flavors of chocolate, dark fruits and bitter coffee. Intriguing.
