33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Almost clear dark ruby amber colour, dense orange/yellow-ish head. Aroma of bitter oranges, clementines, some citrus, leafy hops, sweet malts. Flavour is quite sweet, malty, sugar, bitter oranges, firm but smooth hoppy bitterness, a bit of toasted malts, firm bittter finish. Full-bodied, smooth, a tad too sweet imo. Not my favourite style of beer, but this is quite good. Cheers Thomas, always enjoyed having a beer and a chat during your shifts, good luck on the study!
33 cl bottle, about 5 years old. I know I had it on tap back then, but I wanted to wait with rating it till I tried it from the bottle, now I regret that....Dark murky brown color. Head is off white, not much. Aroma’s: sweet malts, caramel, raisins, dried fruit, stale hops. Retronasal a lot of dried fruit, caramel, malty sweetness, light hoppy acidity and resin. Flavor is heavy sweet, fruity. Full bodied. Alcohol is warming but not too hot/sharp. Carbonation is quite low. Long finish with light bitterness. Still highly drinkable, but it would have been nice to taste the hops.... MrOrla (3529) - Odense C, DENMARK - APR 15, 2015

Check this tasting, Odense 2015. Cloudy amber with a tiny white head. Big malty aroma of bread and toffee, with herbal hops and a little black tea. Sweet malty flavour with pretty good complexity, but a little too much sugar sweetness hallinghansen (3418) - Odense SV, DENMARK - APR 14, 2015

Unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, candy - dried fruit, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, caramel, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Had this at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sunday 29th September 2013 This is a big, big beer, hugely hoppy, very sweet wonderful but a truly massive IPA. Quite an impressive DIPA/Barley Wine. Sticky but so, so hoppy. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
