0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', bottled in March 2017. Dark brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little resiny aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and hazelnut with a touch of pine. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, licorice, some hazelnut and hints of ash, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, rather earthy-dry finish. Medium body, creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good Porter, great balance, must have been long ago since I have had such a well-executed example of this style. wilde_joost59 (220) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 8, 2017
Bottle at home. Deep brown color, thin beige head. There are flakes in the beer, doesn't look nice. Taste is okay, roasted Greek coffee. Expected more from this one. vlada94 (209) - Nis, SERBIA - AUG 31, 2017

On tal at jonas tap takeover. Pleasant coffe smell, a little bit too light bodied for me. Has some ashyness going on. lello4ever (1115) - ITALY - AUG 12, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Quasi nera con sottile schiuma beige. Al palato molto profumata, mentre la. Bevuta ? buona, morbida e stranamente tende all affumicata. ? ben fatta e con una buona tostatura. Wolfbass (1186) - Firenze, ITALY - JUL 30, 2017
Una porter molto originale, mi sembra molto meno densa e tostata, di una buona beva. Non male ma non mi ha conquistato. bonkiedeaap (786) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 28, 2017
Bottle from De Caigny in Essen, Belgium. The beer is very dark brown / black colored and has a stable creamy head, with good carbonation.
The aroma is malty with notes of caramel, roasted malts, dried fruits, dark chocolate and coffee.
The taste is moderatly sweet with notes of roasted malts and changes into a nice dry- and bitterness with notes of spices, chocolate and coffee.
The finish is dry and long bitter.
Lacks a little in body and expected a better foam in this style. thejackpacker (529) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2017
Draught at Captain Cook, Östersund. A really delicious porter. Love it when a porter comes off well, and if I wasn’t so full when drinking it, I probably would have loved it even more. A great smooth palate with some spicy chocolate (from the chocolate malts). I think it’s a great porter :)
