330ml bottle. Pours almost black with a latte coloured head. The aroma is fairly muted chocolate, but has toasted elements and a light smokiness. The taste is light medium sweet and light medium bitter. Slight metallic note from the hops. Fairly good though.

colui72 (939) - HONG KONG - FEB 4, 2017
Dark brown/black, with a medium beige head, some legs. Aroma of dark fruits and roasted dark malts. Taste is what one expects from a regular porter: roasted dark marks, dark fruits, some caramel and notes of coffee and cocoa. Smooth, quite light bodied and easy drinking. Not outstanding but a proper porter.

ALIBALI (1778) - Kiel, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2017
Moccaduft und schwarzer Look deuten nicht unbedingt auf den folgenden fresh balticlastigen Hopfentrunk hin. Elegant verschmelzen hier sweety Rstsurespritzer mit schlanken Rotweinflair. Nice drinkability inklusive. A Good One. 0,33/1,75. Bottle. De Molen Brewey, Holland.

CH-303 (2171) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JAN 24, 2017
Appearance: Calm enough in the bottle, but when pouring into a glass, mostly creamy tan head appears. Later very dark brown liquid appears...
Aroma: Dark malt, metal, roasted.
Taste: Dark malted, roasted, slight sweetness. A bit one-dimensional. Slight bitterness.
Bought: Craft Gallery, 330 ml, CHF 3.90

Smaak is vrijwel identiek. Veel melk chocolade, geroosterd, fluweel achtig mondgevoel.

Bottle. Bottled Nov 2014; BBE Nov 2019; Drank June 2016 - Dark Reddish Brown in colour. Average foamy tan head. Good lacing. Malty; roasty malts, milk chocolate, coffee, liquorice, caramel. Spicy; peppery. Hoppy; moderately hoppy, grassy hops. Fruity; dark fruit notes. Sweet roast milk chocolate and coffee malty throughout. Dry roast malty finish. Easy drinking. Not bad, but I expected more from a De Molen beer. Disappointing. (2016-06-10)

Nice porter. lightly spiced, really nice roastiness, pretty mild. In the background there are some notes of licorice and dark fruits. The taste is moderately sweet and bitter, slightly acidic. The finish is nice, smooth and malty. In overall decent brew with characteristic slightly nice and fruity features of all de molen dark/roasted brews.
