   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 16/20
Bulk_Carrier (4207) - Lake Champlain, Vermont, USA - MAY 9, 2016
This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a mostly dark brown color with a thin off white to tan thin head. Messy lacing. The smell takes on a moderately thin roasty coffee bean to sweet dark fruity blend running into some milk chocolate. The taste was semi-sweet with the roastiness blending nicely to balance. Delicate aftertaste of the sweet milk chocolate to dark fruits. Dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation runs about a medium. Bitterness seems to be hidden a bit because of the carbonation. Still, it really moves nice and smooth on my tongue. Overall, as an English Porter - all of the aromas and flavors match. The feel is good too. I would definitely have again.

Lele (468) - Padova, ITALY - APR 26, 2016
ASPETTO: marrone, schiuma abbastanza grossolana, bianca e non persistente. AROMA: tostato prevalente, un tocco di floreale. Aroma comunque non molto forte. GUSTO: forte tostato. Birra tendente allamaro (tostato pi che erbaceo), ma che comunque abbastanza equilibrata. Buona, ma non esplode.

Tap at TCBW. Brown beer, no head. Toasty nose with bread and caramel. Flavor is hoppy with. malty caramel. Unfortunately the sample I got was flat, so its kind of a disappointment.
