Una porter molto originale, mi sembra molto meno densa e tostata, di una buona beva. Non male ma non mi ha conquistato. bonkiedeaap (770) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 28, 2017
Bottle from De Caigny in Essen, Belgium. The beer is very dark brown / black colored and has a stable creamy head, with good carbonation.
The aroma is malty with notes of caramel, roasted malts, dried fruits, dark chocolate and coffee.
The taste is moderatly sweet with notes of roasted malts and changes into a nice dry- and bitterness with notes of spices, chocolate and coffee.
The finish is dry and long bitter.
Lacks a little in body and expected a better foam in this style. thejackpacker (477) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2017
Draught at Captain Cook, Östersund. A really delicious porter. Love it when a porter comes off well, and if I wasn’t so full when drinking it, I probably would have loved it even more. A great smooth palate with some spicy chocolate (from the chocolate malts). I think it’s a great porter :) jackl (8210) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2017
Late June, 2015. Sample thanks to the London Crew at The Rake. Cheers, guys. Deep, soupy brown pour with a small head. Not the most attractive pour. Nose has some cocoa wafer, mild coffee. A bit or roasted grain. Flavor of earthy char, some lightly acidic coffee. Mild chocolate and some old leather. Medium body, soft carb.

Oct. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle that poured lightly hazy dark copper hued brown body with smaller brown head. Fine, strong roasted coffee, cocoa and licorice aroma. Flavor was very nice, roasted as well, with cocoa, licorice, some ash in between. Pleasantly rounded, full bodied, with long coffee and cocoa finish muscled up with ash and peat. De Molen spoilt me completely so I expected even more, something amazing and unconventional, but this is a fine porter indeed. saintbase (680) - Bydgoszcz, POLAND - MAY 23, 2017
