(33cl bottle) Purchased at Cook Street Liquor for around $6.90. Pours a thin, frothy white had atop a deep reddish-brown body. Nose is lightly toasted. Flavours are pretty sharp for a porter. A lot of bitterness and hops in the front with a slow meld into a roasted malty finish. Very thin and somewhat off-base in my opinion.

Look: dark brown with red shades, no head. Aroma: green peas, some roasted and chocolate notes. Taste: light sweetness, light acidity. Oily body. Flavour: chocolate, cold coffee, some vinous notes, some soy sauce. Plain and good.

Klares, helles Braun mit relativ wenig Schaum. Malzig, Röstaromen, etwas Karamell, Nüsse, leichte Kaffeenoten, etwas dünn.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', bottled in March 2017. Dark brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little resiny aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and hazelnut with a touch of pine. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, licorice, some hazelnut and hints of ash, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, rather earthy-dry finish. Medium body, creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good Porter, great balance, must have been long ago since I have had such a well-executed example of this style.

Bottle at home. Deep brown color, thin beige head. There are flakes in the beer, doesn't look nice. Taste is okay, roasted Greek coffee. Expected more from this one.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2017 33cl bottle purchased at the taproom, and enjoyed at home on 18-Aug-2017. Dark brown with a medium sized beige coloured head. Aroma of cocoa nibs, coffee beans and malt. Medium/full body and soft carbonation. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and spices. A really smooth chocolate porter.

On tal at jonas tap takeover. Pleasant coffe smell, a little bit too light bodied for me. Has some ashyness going on.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Quasi nera con sottile schiuma beige. Al palato molto profumata, mentre la. Bevuta ? buona, morbida e stranamente tende all affumicata. ? ben fatta e con una buona tostatura.

Una porter molto originale, mi sembra molto meno densa e tostata, di una buona beva. Non male ma non mi ha conquistato.
