75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma of Belgian chocolates or bon-bons, vanilla, bourbon, light vinous. Flavour is light sweet, chocolate, vanilla, wood, light vinous, hint of tartness, light coffee and chocolate bitter finish with a hint of bourbon. Medium bodied. This beer has improved tremendously with the oak-aging imo.

Cloudy brown - red beer. Decent tan head. Minerally nose. Light palate - semi crisp, turns slightly soft. Subtle chocolatey malt surrounded by some woody sourness and crispness. A little subtle fruit. A little vanilla wood before the dry finish.
