PotjeBier (3335) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2011 On tap @ In De Wildeman. Dark, almost black, hardly any head. Strong smell of oak, roast, some bourbon & vanilla. Tastes roasted/burnt, acidic, dark chocolate. Fairly full bodied for a relatively light beer. Finishes dry, bitter, and more roast & wood. Good. 1 year old bottle at home: the wine comes out much more now in both aroma and flavor to produce a very complex beer. Dry finish, like a dry red wine.

Tap at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Great aroma with bourbon, leather, vanilla and roasted malt. The body is very thin though and with almost no carbonation. Still quite hard to drink as it’s quite rough. Interesting though.
