Copenhagen Beer Festival. Think I heard this described as a ’Cross between a barleywine and a double IPA’. Cloudy brown beer. Smooth palate. Nicely balanced rich malt and hops with the hops just becoming dominant. Warming finish and a bitterish aftertaste.
bottle at home ... from my De Molen 09 haul ... deep brown ... thin off white lacing ... light sweet pine hop ... big sweet fruit juicy hop ... light bitter ... quite sweet ... some pine and some lime peel ... bitter from the lime peel
