Tap at mikkeller and friends. Black color, brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, licorice, sweet notes. Balanced full body, licorice, coffee, some hops at the end. Excellent stout, rich and balanced.

Fad: Kulsort olieret l med masser af bourbon i duften. Vanilie og chokolade kmper med kaffe i denne yderst delikate impy. Smagen lever nsten op til duften der igen sidder i skabet. Dejlig l.

Martinus (4569) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 29, 2013
Clear black colour, red hue, firm tan head. Aroma of whisky, bourbon, vanilla, wood, mocha coffee, light chocolate. Light woody flavour, dark chocolate, liquorice, bourbon-like whisky. Thick creamy body, finish bourbon, wood, alcohol, chocolate, hint of tar. Very smooth and balanced, yet still quite bold flavours. Definitely a beer thats defending the De Molen grandeur in style.

The aroma and taste have something of an old bookcase. Wood, dusty, whisky, chocolate, roasted coffee. Very long whisky coffee aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 shared a bottle with friens. for me this one is way better as the normal 666 version. there is no overtone of cognac - whisky. nice taste of vanilla, oak, chocolate, nice and thick mouthfeel. to bad its sold out. still have 2 bottles left. lets age them for a while

Fra fad, Mikkeller & Friends. Brunlig sort sag med et lille, hurtigt aftagende lysebrunt skum. Sdlig brndt maltet aroma. Tr, vanilje, chokolade, lakrids, whiskey. Heftig maltsdme i munden, men god smooth fylde, med klistret textur a la marcipan, varmende alkohol og ristet bitter finish.

Opaque dark brown beer with a tidy tan head. Palate is soft, viscous and a little dry. Sweetish dark malt with rich coffee and a touch of alcohol spice. Trace if violets and candy friuts. Light brandy liqueur before the smooth dry finish.
