Aroma’s of alcohol/whiskey, chocolate, roasted malts, some soy sauce (especially smelling from the bottle), a little ed fruit. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, somewhat (red) fruity. Medium bodied. Alcohol doesn’t seem like 13%. Long finish with chocolate, some roast. Nice!

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 1, 2013
Bottle cheers to Ranga Jackson. Pours thick as the night black with a small, densely coating khaki head. Heavy spotted lacing and good retention. Nose is quite smokey upon first sniff. As it warms it begins to open up with notes of light black cherry, aniseed, roasted coffee, touch of sweet peat - almost hickory smoke. Taste consumes you. Very well balanced for such a complex beer. Wow. The smokiness sits behind everything giving that little bit extra depth. Loads of powdered, heavily dark chocolate - almost salty and fills out the palate quite substantially leaving a dryness on the finish. Molasses/liquorice comes through with light raisin sweetness. Fantastic beer. No heat whatsoever. Drinks superbly. Would love to have it again

Fad: Kulsort olieret øl med masser af bourbon i duften. Vanilie og chokolade kæmper med kaffe i denne yderst delikate impy. Smagen lever næsten op til duften der igen sidder i skabet. Dejlig øl.

4.3
bursprak (3284) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2015
Bottle. Pitch black with a espresso head. Some roast, brandy, sweet malts, vanilla and chocolate with some savory notes. Tasty!
