Bottle. Black beer with a not lasting tanned head. Dried dark fruits, vanilla, dark chocolate, licorice aroma with some alcohol hints. simliar flavour, maybe a bit too much alcohol flavour. This one needs to mature for a few years to peak. Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2013

Aftertaste is plant extract roast, bitter, grass, liquorice, malt roast, light porridge and tabacco.
Low carbo, soft silky mouthfeel, full body and an oily texture.
Decent beer, but there’s something strange with this beer. Is it the liquor, the dryness or the spicy bitter tones.. Or is it a mix of all these things? But it’s soft and smooth..
After a time breathing it all becomes even better balanced. Good beer! fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2013

33cl. Bottle nr. 0155.
Pours black with brown head.
Aroma alcohol, whiskey, coffee, chocolate, roasted & dark malts, liquorice, sweet sugar.
Taste choco vanilla sweet.
Great imp. Stout. Complex. Like the fact it's aged on their own whiskey.

Fad: Kulsort olieret øl med masser af bourbon i duften. Vanilie og chokolade kæmper med kaffe i denne yderst delikate impy. Smagen lever næsten op til duften der igen sidder i skabet. Dejlig øl.

Poured rock oil, small but stable beige head. Very intensive aroma with roasted grains, burnt wood, alcohol and plum, ash and overriped fruits. Huge, oily body with caramel, whiskey, roasted grains and burnt wood. Fruity, demonish beer that shows us the temptation.
Bottle, courtesy of Beer4000. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, brown sugar, some umami, coffe and chocolate. Flavor is sweet and malt with some chocolate, coco, vanlla, oak, some roasted notes and alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Hoprider (778) - DENMARK - MAR 9, 2014
Black with a semi dense head. The nose is so good. So ballanced. Caramelly roasted malts, slight vanilla, dark chocolate, licorice and god knows what. The taste is equally amazing. Creamy mouthfeel and a slight burn in the end. To me this is one of the best De Molen brews I’ve had. A must try! Staffan47 (908) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAR 20, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2015 Deeply roasted, vanilla, dark fruit. Very very roasted with a bit of booze, very oaky, but not very well combined. A lot of flavours, but I think a few years of aging would improve it, very powerful roastiness, bitterness, coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and oak. Great beer.
