33cl, as Hel & Verdoemenis ’Bowmore BA’, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2013, from De Hopduvel Gent, very complex sweet Stout, roasted/sweet and slightly smoked/woody, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, nearly no head, very good brew, yet expensive!

Overpowering beer. Intense taste of strong roasted malt, peat, a bit smoke and, surprisingly, some bitterness. Aftertaste of coffee and whisky. Nice.

Poetically put "Rich black death"! Irish coffee, deep and burnt flavors, thick spicy and bitter. Powerful stuff! Backlog from 2014/03/15.

Habanero (4946) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - APR 26, 2014
Bottled. Pours opaque black with a tan, medium sized and creamy head. Malty nose of bitter chocolate, vanilla and peat. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with alcohol. Full bodied, oily texture and flat carbonation. A delicious Impy.

MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2016
Bottle, bottled September 2013. Pours an inky black beer with a really small amount of light tanned head on top. Aroma has loads of booze, scotch, some wood, loads of molasses and a peppery note. Flavor is very sweet, licorice with scotch influences. Very strong alcoholic, sweet and sugary with loads of influences from the Bowmore. A tad unbalanced, still very enjoyable, yet flat as hell. Nice beer!!!

4.2
Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 1, 2014
Bottle at home. Pitch black pour, thin tan head. Aroma is roasted, vanilla, peat, leather, slightly burnt malts, licorice, tar and loads of whisky. Flavor is very bitter, burnt and roasted, but still remarkably smooth. Thick body, very low carbonation and quite silky. Great brew.

4.2
Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 26, 2015
Bottle at home. Black beer with a brownish head. Roasted coffee and whiskey aroma with some vanilla, licorice and chocolate notes. Whiskey, dark chocolate, licorice, vanilla, dark fruits flavour with some nutty and grassy hints.

dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle @ home. Aroma is big peaty whiskey, some roasted malt, liquorice, caramel and burned molasses. Flavour is big roast, huge salty/silty liquorice, iodine, peat, caramel. Whiskey dominates too much imho, but still a great beer.
