Chocolate, cocoa, bread, spicy notes, togfee, coffee in the taste. Chocolate in the aftertaste. Silky texture. Heavy bodied, enormous, wonderful imperial stout. Excellent brew. Very tasty.

Sweet, chocolate, roasted malts are not so dominant. Smooth, velvety in mouthfeel . Slightly woody, vinous and lightly fruity. Bitterness is not so powerful.

Pours black oily with foamy light brown head ewhich transforms to a ring around the glass. Aroma: roasted grain, dark malts, dark fruit esters, vanilla, red wine, port wine, bourbon. Flavour perfectly follows aroma: chocolate, coffee, cacao notes of dark malts, hint of toasted toffee, dark fruit esters, vanillin (vanilla), red wine-like, bourbon-like, port wine-like notes. Dry, astringent finish.full body, soft texture, moderate carbonation. On first glance reminds me on the Abyss from Deschutes, just american fellow is way better blended.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty smoked malt, woody, vinous, alcohol, light fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich dry smoky vinous, alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle... Murky dark-brown pour with a small, creamy, khaki head that’s gone faster than you can say "quick." Small mushroom-colored collar. The aroma is a lush collection of hearty malts, toasted nuts and fudge. Medium to full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is burnt, bitter and boozy with a lengthy, lightly acidic and mildly acrid finish. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!
