Bottle from het Biermoment, dated 17-10-17. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of loads of hazelnut, which completely overwhelms the rest. In taste, hazelnutspread with roasted malts and dark chocolate. Slight alcohol. As the Noa pecan mud cake has also been brewed at de Molen, I wonder if this was "inspired" by that beer, or maybe even a batch that was discarded by Omnipollo? Still, I sometimes enjoy these pastry stouts, but I could only handle a few sips of this abomination. Simply too much. Awful.

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mooi toetjes-stout: dikke structuur, smaken van koffie, chocola en hazelnoot, mooi in balans, niet te zoet. Heerlijk!

Bought @ De Caigny. Nice nutty aroma. Taste is... hazelnoot. Nice roast combined with hazelnut. A tad bitter. Confusing taste. A tad coffee. Nice full body. Aftertaste is bitter nuts.

Bottle (from .debierliefhebber.nl). Pours black with nice brownish head. Aroma is massive hazelnuts, cocoa, roast, sweetness, malt. Flavor is sweet and really bitter, hazelnoot, malt, roast, dryness, licorice. Finish is dark chocolate and hoppy dry. Overall: good, but original hel & verdoemenis is way better.

kraddel (9428) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 11, 2018
Pours black, good, off white head with above average stability. Smell is drop-dead-gorgeous. pure hazelnut goodness, over the dense body of one of my favorite stouts. Taste is bitter, roasty. very creamy. intense hazelnut aspects. Ends very roasty, even some charcoal. Body is thick ( yet not syrupy, which would make this even higher-scoring to me) carbonation is low-average. Rather bitter, and not as sweet as you'd think. is that a good thing? well thats a personal choice. I, for one, think this is a very, very nice balance, but a tad more sweetness would make this even better.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2018 Kran w chmielarni. Czarne z drobną, betonową pianką. Mega orzechy laskowe w zapachu, do tego mleczna czekolada i cappuccino. Fajnie.

TrefwoordPunk (1332) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2018
Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaquish almost pitch black with a small tan head and an aroma of sweet hazelnut chocolate paste, roasted malts, moccha, maple syrup, toffee, butterscotch, brownies, licorice and herbs. The taste is heavy sweet with lots of nuts, full body and soft carbonation, not too much roasty or bitter complexities for an imperial stout, only in the finish. Too sweet and a bit one-dimensional, still really drinkable.

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 31-01-2018.
In short: hazelnuts in IStout.
Did I enjoy it: yes.
Pours black with nice frothy tan head. Long head retention, some good lacing. Hazelnut nose, some artificial, roasty, cocoa aromas. Full body, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste is quite bitter, hazelnuts, roasty, cocoa, coffe. Dry aftertaste. Intense. Quite enjoyable.
