Bottle. Black with small light brown head. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, bitter and liquorice. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2011
Bottle. An oily pour leaves a black beer topped by a small, tan head. It’s heavy on the nose, vanilla, oak and alcohol in the back, with coffee, roasted and burnt malts doing most of the work. Quite vinous. Alcohol too of course, it’s a strong beer. The flavor is sweet, but not too sweet, and quite complex with the barrels leaving oak, vanilla and alcohol, and the malts roasted flavors and coffee. Some alcohol wamth in the mouth, full-bodied and oily. Chocolate, coffee, red wine and vanilla in the finish. A lovely one. 110107 jtclockwork (16600) - , New Jersey, USA - JAN 16, 2011

Very sweet, a touch vanilla-ey, and with a super mellow coffee taste too. Sweet and soft. Lovely little sipper.
Color is very dark black, opague. Very strong alcohol smell. Taste: coffee, alcohol present but good. Oily texture, yet somehow smooth as well. Soft aftertaste and finish. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Itty bittie bottle from Alvinne beershop. Bottle # 955. Pours very brown/black with a couple of tan bubbles. Aroma is to die for. Bourbon, oak and chocolate. Full bodied with miniscule carbonation. Flavor is burnt malt, bourbon, chocolate, and possibly coffee. Mild heat. Thick and syrupy, but the oakiness offsets that. Super! Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2010
