Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A viscous caramel brown / black coloured pour , oily, light tan head.. Aroma is coconut, vanilla, oak, brown unrefined sugars, hints of raspberry. Flavour is composed of full on sticky sugars, coconut, rich dark chocolate, Palate is full bodied, sweet and sticky, . Good stuff.

Bottled. Pours hazy deep brown nearly black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, wood, chocolate, peat and cognac Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with alcohol. Medium to full bodied, oily text. and soft carb. A very nice Impy indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, peated, alcohol - sweet alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol - sweet alcohol, peat, dark malt, chocolate, peat - smoke. Body is medium - medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150925]

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 day 1. Pours a pitch black with a tiny to no head. Aroma has smoke, peat, cognac, roast, caramel, slight candy, gocnac-grapes. Taste is sweet, lots of caramel, nice cognac that suits the smoke well. Good for being smoked. Not the pretties of beers.
