COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with the most heavily peated malt in the world from the Bruichladdich distillery. Almost pitch black and opaque, small head. Furiously peated aroma, hiding the malt, licorice and dark chocolate somewhat. Very full bodied, thick mouthfeel, like fluid bread. Dark chocolate, loads of peat, lapsang souchong tea, chocolate cake, culminating in an almost endless aftertaste that also has licorice.
Alcohol varies by batch.

Ciemno brunatny, nieprzejrzysty.

This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation, an opaque black colored body and a fair lacing. The deep aroma was chocolate roasted male and molasses. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong roasted/burnt malt aftertaste. The delicious flavor contained notes of molasses, roasted malt, chocolate, brown malt and dark malts. A wonderful best in class brew.

Looking at the ABV on this bad boy, I opted for my snifter. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a tan foamy head that held for at least a good minute. Mild glossy tan lacing strung all about. The aroma has a superb blend of milk and dark chocolate malts to smoke. Dried meatiness at the end. The flavor combines the milk and dark chocolate sweetness to the smoke. Leans to a slight sticky milk chocolate sweet aftertaste and rolling on into the aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice sipping quality about it. Carbonation seems to run very low and allows a light stickiness running all around. Overall, damn fine smoked porter or stout or imperial stout, whatever the hell this thing is supposed to be. Just so damn good that I would love to have again in a heartbeat.
