33 cl. Bottle sampled thx! to Kraddel. Bottled on 27/01/2011. Complete and utter gushes & smells infected even from a distance. Dark brown with a very big, collapsing mocha head. Nose is very vinous coffee grounds, ashes, mocha & vinegar. Tastes of soy sauces, ashes, coffee grounds with less wine vinegar than expected, very heavy on soy sauce and faint herbs. Carb. is very high in the way that is typical for an infected beer, it is not as bad as I thought that it would be upon opening. Still an infected mess more or less. derBreslauer (142) - Wroclaw, POLAND - DEC 1, 2013
At first sight black body, but it’s some sort of muddy dark brown color. Head is minimal, disappears quickly. At the beginning aroma is malty and smoky, but after warming up it reveals roasty and heavily chocolate base. Pleasant warming taste. It’s very delicate. Starts with smoked and roasted notes and goes to bitter chocolate and cocoa. Bitterness is moderate but long lasting. Gives great aftertaste. Great beer. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2013
Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat.Pours black with a small creamy tanned head. Aroma of peated malts, coffee, soy sauce and dark bitter chocolate. Thick, sticky and oily mouthfeel.Taste is much of the same as suggested in the aroma, but the peaty malt is well integrated, in a light sweet malty taste bomb, coffee and mocha, lingering bitter liquorice, traces of smoke in the finish, me like, a lot.

Color caoba oscuro con espuma beige. Aromas tostados y ahumados, romero y regaliz. En boca tiene un inicio dulce y tostado que pasa a los ahumados intensos y agradables. Muy rica. Jmum (13) - - NOV 19, 2013
I love bruichladdich whisky and love this smoked imperial stout with bruichladdich malt.
Very intense smoked aroma with dry fruits and chocolate.
Full body, well bitter.

Mooie zwarte kleur met degelijke lichtbruine kraag. Dikke structuur. Rokerige geur met hints van koffie en vanille en chocolade. Lekkere rokerige smaak. Iets koffie en een goede alcohol smaak. ChrisSc (464) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 24, 2013
33cl? Into glass, Lille.
Appearance: deep deep brown. Huge tan head.
Aroma: chocolate, peat, leather, dark fruit molasses.
Taste: sweet, then peaty.
Palate:full body. thick syrupy texture. Low carbonation.
Overall: extremely interesting beer. The peat is present but subtle. Adds great flavor to the beer. Even without the peat the flavor is fantastic. A really well made beer. ABS (1060) - Stokke, NORWAY - OCT 14, 2013
Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vka. Pours black. More than average amount of brown head. Smoke, roasted coffee and malt nose. Sweet and bitter. Slightly above medium carbonation for this kind of beer. Medium to full mouth feel. Low texture. Roasted coffee, malt, chocolate, licorice, some raisin, hint of vanilla aroma. Complex and very good. A bit too bitter in my opinion.
