COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with the most heavily peated malt in the world from the Bruichladdich distillery. Almost pitch black and opaque, small head. Furiously peated aroma, hiding the malt, licorice and dark chocolate somewhat. Very full bodied, thick mouthfeel, like fluid bread. Dark chocolate, loads of peat, lapsang souchong tea, chocolate cake, culminating in an almost endless aftertaste that also has licorice.
Alcohol varies by batch.

Small 18 cl bottle brewed on 14th december 2009. No head on this beer which was the only weakness of this beer. Nice roasted malty arome with a hop (amarillo ofcourse) finish. Aroma is malty bit hoppy but above al chocolate. Mild bitter after taste and a smooth mouthfeel. When the temperature of the beer rises during degustation, the amarillo becomes more eminent. At the recommended temperature of 16 degrees C, this beer is like a melted bag of maltesers

Aroma is liquor/bourbon, very thick dark malts and rubber/peat. The flavor is pears/rubber, dark malts and a warming alcoholic/slightly sweet finish.

Aroma: smoky, chocolate, caramel, soy sauce, roasty, nuts Taste: medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter, roasty, chocolate, caramel, soy sauce, nuts. Roasty note is a bit too harsh here.

Piwo w odbiorze gładkie, finisz bardziej wytrawny, alkohol ukryty.

A 33 cl bottle from Bottle Jockey in Burnaby. A dark brown beer with little carbonation and a smoky malted nose. If you like heavily peated scotch whisky you'll love this beer. Once you get past the smoke and peat there are undertones of cocoa and coffee. Mouth feel is thick and oily with a lingering aftertaste. Great stuff! 4.1

I picked this up at De Bierkoning in Amsterdam a couple of years back. Should be named Heaven on Earth! Heavy peated aroma, yet not overpowering, balanced by the chocolate, licorice and burnt malt, pours a treacle black with very little head, has a lingering aftertaste, an outstanding stout.
