Made with the most heavily peated malt in the world from the Bruichladdich distillery. Almost pitch black and opaque, small head. Furiously peated aroma, hiding the malt, licorice and dark chocolate somewhat. Very full bodied, thick mouthfeel, like fluid bread. Dark chocolate, loads of peat, lapsang souchong tea, chocolate cake, culminating in an almost endless aftertaste that also has licorice.
Alcohol varies by batch.

Black pour with a tall creamy tan head that eventually fades to 1 finger. Aroma is huge on peat smoke and iodine, along with woody smoke and dark chocolate, then some briny char, roast, earth, licorice and burnt nuts. Flavor is all chocolate and peat smoke up front, followed by dark roast coffee, roasted nuts, campfire smoke, earth, hints of sauted dark fruit, burnt sugar, earth, burning hay and lighter roast, briny char, roast and lots of lingering smoke to the finish. Heavy body, creamy, oily and syrupy entry, heavy and blanketing carbonation and oily, boozy, slightly solvent-like and slightly acidic finish. Really tasty stuff overall, the flavor lasts forever and moves from one group of tastes to the next like acts in a play. Way, way over carbonated though, coupled with the light, but odd acidity in the finish, I have to wonder if it might be infected.

Pours out dark brown & sits black in the glass with a medium brown head. Aromas of smoke, peak, and black pepper; very subtle sweetness on nose. Flavors are lead from front to back by the peaty smokiness, creating a savory smoked meat flavor. Chocolates, caramel, & licorice follow to keep it from getting too salty & bitter. Light-bodied with no carb; finishes dry from all that smoke. Its a damn delicious, unique stout, and TBH...I wasnt prepared for this one.

Ciemno brunatny, nieprzejrzysty.

This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation, an opaque black colored body and a fair lacing. The deep aroma was chocolate roasted male and molasses. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong roasted/burnt malt aftertaste. The delicious flavor contained notes of molasses, roasted malt, chocolate, brown malt and dark malts. A wonderful best in class brew.
