COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Stout 10,2% vol. Twice the amount of dark roasted malts used, massive Imperial stout. This is a mad one. Black brown colour with a thick and creamy tan head that can be added to as you wish if you give the bottle a swirl. Give this beer time to breathe and blossom into something truly stunning. Chocolate and alcohol are right there at the front but do not at all overpower the gorgeousness that is underneath. Full of leather, vanilla, amazing wooden notes, beautifully floral character from the hops, thick Belgian chocolate, much character. The flavour of crazy wooden tartness. An extremely bitter finish seems to come out of nowhere and is what really makes this quite unique. Superb width in the mouth and coats the whole palate beautifully. Alcohol 12% in latere versies

Appearance: pours a very dark, nearly opaque, with a nice reddish-brown foamy cap that unfortunately quickly dissipates Aroma has prunes, malts, and a little orange. Mouthfeel: this drinks like a classic milk stout. The body is incredibly creamy beautiful. Flavour: is again lots of prunes, with a chocolatey/coffee malt layer underneath, and a hint of orange peel at the end. I was pleasantly surprised to find hardly any toasty notes here. Drinkability: this could be a beer youd love one glass after another. It could be, if there wasnt the 10.2% alcohol in it. Its such a sweet, creamy, tasty, drinkable beer.

From 33cl bottle. Pours dark brown, no foam, looking very much like a coke. Aroma is deep of red fruits, cherries, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Body is medium-dense with tongue-tickling carbonation. Taste has some sweetness, but also a good bitterness, which dominates the former. Finish is relatively long, but could be longer for such a beer.

[email protected] Molen Takeover, Taphouse, Copenhagen (07/03/2017) - pours black with a tan head. Sweet and roasted malty aroma and taste, with prominent rich opulent chocolate, velvety mouthfeel, some additional caramel and fudge sweetness, light wooden accents, warming with a vanilla caress into the close.

Bottle, bottled 15-08-16. Aroma is intensive cognac, quite much dark chocolate. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Full body, creamy texture. Maybe not the best beer by De Molen, but still its great.

W snifterze kolor prawie czarny, skromna, jasnobeżowa piana. W aromacie mleczna czekolada, kawa, w tle delikatny sos sojowy. W smaku świeżo zmielona kawa, czekolada, kakao, delikatna ziemistość, jest raczej słodko niż wytrawnie. Alkohol niewyczuwalny. Bardzo prosty, nieskomplikowany, smaczny i przyjemny imperialny stout.

Bottle, pours black with a small tan lace. Aroma dark, rich chocolate, vanilla. Nice rounded oak notes. Lovely thick palate with a creamy texture. Very fine light carbonation. Moreish sweetness with nice balance from the hops. Excellent.

Heerlijk
