Poors a little oily amber with big slightly mocha head. Aroma: fruity hops, soft, lychee, hardly any bitterness. Taste more bitter, decent fruityness but less than aroma, caramel malts noticable, lingering astringent aftertaste. Taste decent complexity, no too thin for such a low abv. Lively carbonation a bit too much for me.

Wygląd super, piana sztywna, klarowne. Aromat. Słodowy, niewiele się dzieje. Smak.

F: huge, off-white, long lasting. C: deep gold to amber, hazy. A: a lot of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruits, orange, tangerine. T: malty backbone, tropical fruits, smooth mouthfeel, tangerine, mango, biscuits, very nice balanced with fresh fruitiness, medium body and carbonation, refreshing, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke.

Bottle at home, 21st January 18. Pours a resinous orange, good dense head. Aroma is bitter marmalade. Taste is fresh, citrus, little bitter, bread and yeast. Bitter refreshing finish. Good for a 2 euro beer.

Hazy, dark orange, big white head leaving lots of lacing. Tropical fruit nose, with mango, peach and orange. Medium body. Dry, biscuity malt, sweet fruit, pine and a slightly bitter finish. Penultimate beer in the Beer Gonzo advent calendar.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 Kolor ciemno pomarańczowy, silnie zmętniony. Piana biała, bardzo wysoka i trwała, obficie zdobi szkło. Aromat to feria owoców tropikalnych i cytrusowych, czuć moc.

Day 9 of the Honest Brew Advent Calendar. 330ml brown bottle, unfiltered. I'm up and down on beers from De Molen. I can really love them, or not like them at all. This one has elements of both. The malt is flat and dull - a little too much like a dull lager. There is some yeast, but it's a little sludgy. Bittering hops are, well, bitter and sludgy, while the flavouring hops are fighting, unsuccessfully, to distinguish themselves from the bittering hops in the mouth, though do rise up on the nose. This beer depends on the nose, and on being drunk really fresh after pouring. It does create a big white head, which is generally popular with people. I'm never fussed over heads. I'd rather get on with drinking the beer! Fruit drops and banana on the nose. This is a mix for me. On the whole, edging more to the positive than the negative
