Tap at CBC. Low haze gold with medium carbonation. Nose is way off. Sauerkraut, acetic acid, pickle juice. Oh no. Taste is dry, bland, some seltzer water, and then hot hot acetic acid. Acetobacter bomb with vegetal oddities.

Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours hazy golden with a small creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while clinging to the glass and leaving some thick lacing. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter and tiny sour with hay, crackers, barnyard, cloves, funk, plums, grapes and brett. Mouthfeel is round, tart and medium bodied. Finish is tart and bitter with lemon zest, grape zest, crackers, plums and brett.

AROMA: citrus, apples (cider-like) APPEARANCE: pale, hazy, frothy TASTE: lightly bitter, heavy sourness, PALATE: full body, creamy, lively, long finish, very refreshing OVERALL: fantastic body given 4.6 ABV, comes close to Orval, perfect blend of hop and cider-like qualities.

750 ml bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Brewed on july 1, 2010. Bottled March 1, 2011. The pour is an orange golden, hazed, with a small off white head. The aroma is wild yeast, some nice floral, and a light barnyard character in the back. The taste is a light floral sour, dirty earthy leathery Brett, light fruit sweetness, and finishes with more of the yeast. The palate is medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, and an earthy mineral brett finish. Really unique flavor and character the this beer. Thanks for sharing this one, Eugene.

Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 26, 2011
Draught at GBBF 2011. Very hazy yellow color. Sweet and sour with apple, grapefruit, lots of phenols and some barnyard. Some cheesy bread crust. Really horsey and phenolic, it makes the finish very dry.
