KyotoLefty (10688) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 9, 2011
Cask at GBBF 2011, 3rd day. Dirty gold, cloudy and filthy. Earthy horse blanket and citrus nose. Dry, citrus, dusty flavor with grapefruit and some yogurt. Nice.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense GBBF 2011. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a white head. A very sour aroma with great brett notes. There isa high level of hops in the mouth together with lots more sourness. It’s quite peppery too. I don’t think the sourness and the hops really go very well. It’s very interesting but doesn’t entirely work.

Scopey (15704) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2011
Poured from a wood cask at GBBF 2011 by the man himself, Menno. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin bubbly off-white head. The nose is tangy orange, funky farmyard, brett, mango, marmalade and floral. The taste is hay, tangy orange, tangerine, pine, farmyard, solid bitterness and floral, with a dry-tangy citrus finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Thirst quenching and very drinkable.

Cask at GBBF, 2011. Cloudy gold pour with a white head. Apricot and pear aroma with some sour notes. Sour citrus bite. Quite nutty with a tinge of vanilla. Light bitter finish.

rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2011
Draught at GBBF 2011. Somewhat hazy pale golden, almost no head. Fruity hoppy aroma, sourish, grapefruit. Hoppy flavor, sourish, some grapefruit. For some reason, this beer never got me really interested.

abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2011
Shared bottle courtesy of beer pal Ole Anders. ABV 4,8 %. Golden, light hazy with a cappucino colored head three fingers thick. Brettannomyces aroma; berries and orange peel. Brett also in the mouth; acidic, fresh, mildly bitter with some herbal notes. Dry finish. Light to medium body and a dry finish. A summerly and refreshing drink.

Travlr (26075) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Oak cask, hand pull at GBBF. Murky golden color (it’s Urbain’s fault). Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, straw. Taste has a soft sourness with grapefruit, pineapple, lemon. Nice.

Tasted from cask at GBBF August 2011, absolutely wonderful despite not being settled and still a bit cloudy. Sweet malt balanced by a hint of sourness. Very moreish.
