Bottle from 2011, shared by/at Joes. Rather clear deep golden color. Frothy almost white head. Aroma’s: light poop, funky. Retronasal it’s light sour, funky, herbal. Flavor is light bitter, light sour, funky. Light bodied. Alas, again not my thing.

750 ml bottle. Bottled oct 11th. 2012. Dark, slightly hazy yellow colour. Thin white line of froth around the glass. Hints of berries, hints of berry wine, acididness, leathery notes, hints of oakiness and brett in the aroma. Quite complex. Hints of red currants, brett at first. Leathery notes, acididness, hints of spices in the middle. Sour finish. Hints of apples and sourness in the end. Quite dry. Rather medium bodied, low carbonated, interesting and enjoyable sour ale. Like a dessert wine made of berries.

75cl bottle, corked. Bottled Oct 2012. Pours a vibrant dark orange, totally clear, still, no head. Smell - brett, apple cider vinegar. Body is medium, smooth, very little carbonation. Taste - mild, sour cider, watery, syrup, subtle caramel. Basic sour beer, decent enough.

Very bretty and thus lively beer, wouldn’t stop dripping out of the bottle. Strong sour and tardy taste. Notes of wood and horse blanket. Great.
