UPDATED: MAY 3, 2008 It’s a very hazy, dark yellow colored beer. It has a large thick foamy head. The aroma is malty, it has hop bitterness and it’s fruity. The taste is very malty, wheat and has hopbitterness, from American hops. And in the end it’s fresh, as a Spring bock, has to be. It’s good balanced. The totally taste is different, then the most of the Spring/May bock beers. I like this one very much. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - APR 27, 2008
Bier from Bier Koning. Swell orange body with generous head. Malty nose with some fruit. Very nice taste of wheat, banana and citrus. Finishes very hoppy. Enjoyable and quite refreshing. TrefwoordPunk (1311) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2008
Bottle 33 cl. Pours brown with a small white head and a hoppy aroma. The flavor is initially sweet fuity and grainy (wheat) and gets really hoppy in the end. This is a very nice beer to enjoy with patience. Ungstrup (38598) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2008
Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear orangey beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and spicy (from being dry hopped with Amarillo), but also with notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of Amarillo hops and cloves, leading to a dry bitter finish. I like the idea of fermenting a wheat bock really warm - and then dry hopping it with Amarillo - now that is a fusion of styles - keep up the good work. sthlm (790) - Blank, Alabama, USA - MAY 26, 2008
[Bottle, thanks Islay!] Pours really hazy brown and gold. Aroma was really quite nice--definitely reminiscent of spiced pumpkin bread. Somewhat sweet initially, then spice and the bitterness that often comes from a lot of it, and finally some wheat. Medium mouthfeel with a long finish. Pretty nice, although the taste wasn’t quite as good as the aroma.

Pour is a cloudy orange. Pepper clove aroma. Murky dirty brown pour, like apple cider. Nice peppery flavor; like sampling carrot cake. Solid beer for sure.
Appropriate for a Spring seasonal. The aroma has Belgian yeast with flowers and herbs, like new vegetation after winter. Cloves and other spices in the flavor, some wheat. Brown color and a medium palate. I might have called this a spiced beer. Thanks to Islay for sharing this one. Bullit (4719) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 16, 2008
Draught at Brouwerij de Molen. Unclear orange colour, white head. Aroma is yeasty, hoppy and fruity, possibly blackberry. Flavour has fruits and wheat. Nice refreshing spring beer. skortila (5996) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 5, 2008
