Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours ruddy cola with a transient beige head. Aroma is winter spices - but not exactly strong xmas spice. Some dark fruit. Med + body. Flavor is roast caramel with mild spices - some of the usual suspects but also something greenish.

Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours amber with a thin off-white head and a spicy aroma. There is a complex flavor that includes chocolate and various spices with a bitter finish. It’s a good combination.

Tap @ Zla Casy, Prague. Pours maghony with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, dark fruits, cinnamon and other spices. Flavor of malt, sweet dark fruits, grapefruit, wood, cinnamon. Thin body, soft carbonation. More strange than really good. 070812

Grifo. Vaso de ½ Pinta. Saboreada en jul´12. Color rubí profundo y apariencia bastante cristalina. Espuma beige claro y corona fugaz. Aromas de malta caramelo, intenso floral y herbáceo (laurel y trazos de hierbabuena), azúcar y matices de canela. El sabor presenta notas de chocolate, azúcar y caramelos y toques de pomelo. Amargor bajo. Cuerpo medio-intenso y carbonatación suave. Textura oleosa, demasiado azucarada. ABV muy bien camuflado. Refrescante y afrutada. On-tap. ½ Pint glass. Enjoyed on jul´12. Deep ruby color, quite clear appearance. Light beige froth, brief crown. Caramel malt, intense floral & herbal (laurel & fresh mint hints), sugar aromas with cinnamon hues. Flavor shows chocolate notes, sugar & candies, grapefruit hues. Low bitterness. Medium to high body, soft carbonation. Texture is oily, too much sugary. ABV very well hidden. Refreshing & fruity.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a small small, fizzy, virtually no lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy spicy, cinnamon, star anis, laurel. Flavour is moderate to hevy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, caramel, sugary sweet. De Molen claim that apices will not be overwhelming - grrr.... not sure i agree with them this time ;-) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120330]

On draft @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. A nice amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is malt, light burnt caramel, fruit and spices. A hint of cellar notes as well. Flavor is smooth malty with caramel, nice bitterness and sweet fruit with some spices. Fine body and good aftertaste. Pleasant beer.
