Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours a pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is malt, roasted, lactose and fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2. Cloudy dark brown beer, no real head. Crispy palate. Minerals. Massive hit of sour milky cheese - like milk that has just gone off. Trace of hop on the backend. Hat’s off for trying something different but this was a cheesy disaster. The unrateable Kernel was as bad.

This must be the worst of the beers of De Molen I have ever tried. The smell has something of a stable. The taste is also quite disappointing. You can taste some chocolate but mostly it has something of old milk. The beers of De Molen are usually very good but I think something must have gone wrong with this brew or the combination of whey and beer are not quite my taste.

Draft at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, brown head. Weird aroma of onions, human diarrhea and cow manure. Big sweet flavor with dark sugars, oddly intense sweetness, some more poo. Light bodied with fine, soft carbonation. Super sweet finish with more manure, awkward vegetal notes, faint chocolate. Weird beer. Somewhat tough-going at times.

Tiene buena pinta pero el sabor me pareció repugnante. Tuve que dársela a un amigo porque fuí incapaz de acabármela. A él sí le gustó.

BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - OCT 11, 2012
75cl, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2012, with whey, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex sweet Stout, sweet/roasted and slightly spicy/fruity, not balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, nothing special

jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Keg @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep brown with a small head. The nose is red onion peel, some steak sauce and coffee. The taste is strange tangy fruits, chocolate, more umami steak sauce flavors. Medium body. Very strange and not too pleasant.

thomat (3868) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2012
On tap @ BBF 2012. Hazy brown with a tiny tan head. Malty with roasted tones. malt, coffee and chocolate. Light body with a dry finish.

Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2012
Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Cloudy dark brown with no head. Aroma of chocolate with herbal notes and some winegum. Cloying sweet flavour with a winegum-fruity note of yeast, and unpleasant cheese notes.
