bierkoning (13243) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Tap @ Borefts 2012. Deep dark brown color. Roast and smoked fresh cheese in the aroma. Roasty malty sweet flavor. Koetjesrepen. Hint of skimmed milk in the aftertaste.

Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2012
Tap at Borefts 2012. Black with zero head. Aroma has lots of coffee and a hint of coconut. Deep, dark malts make for a cola and cocoa taste with plenty of liquorice. Amazingly thick on the palate for the ABV. The whey must be what makes this beer feel so unnatural, lopsided and strange, but it’s all of those things in the best possible sense.

gunnar (9019) - Sandnes, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2012
On tap at Borefts 12. Pours black as Coke with a small tanned head. Aroma of caramel and chocolate. Taste is thick and moderate roasted malts, nice bitterness suits this one well.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2012
Tasted at the 4th BBF @ De Molen. Brown murky pour. Aroma of sweaty socks, blue cheese and roasted. Flavor is milk, chocolate, ash, slightly sharp sour spices in the finish. A bit too weird for me, but definitely unique.

GothGargoyle (2587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 3, 2012
On tap at Borefts 2012. Deep murky brown with a small beige head that disappears. Aroma is chocolate, almond, dates, hint of citrus. Medium bodied, not as sweet as I was expecting. Taste is milk chocolate, plum, hint of grass and citrus.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2012
Draught @BBF’12: Brown airy small to lightly medium sized head which disappears quick and leaves a headless black beer in your glass. Smell is truely excentric: roasted malts, fresh grass, cheese, milk, erc. A strange but interesting combination. Taste is sweet with light sour and bitter notes. Also some milk, some bitterness andlight dry milk cheese stuff. That cheese kind of stuff is crispy and interesting but strange. Aftertaste is bitter roasted light sour cheesy... Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a creamtly texture.
